A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER
I had worked in the electrical trade for fifteen years when I realized there was a need for an electrical contractor that could and would cater to the needs of the customer. The top three complaints I often heard when a customer tried to contact an electrician..........
#1 "I called several times and only got an answering machine".
#2 "I left several messages and never received a return call".
#3 "Apparently my little job is not important enough".
Since starting our business in 2000, we have been continually complimented on our responsiveness.
You may not need an electrician:
Problem:Outlets in kitchen, garage or outside are not operating.
Possible solution: Home built or updated in the last few decades require such outlets to be GFI protected. This means that there is a GFI outlet or a GFI breaker that protects those outlets. In the event that they don't work, first check to see if the outlet or breaker needs to be reset. You can do this by pushing the reset button on the GFI outlet or turning the breaker back on, on the GFI breaker.
Problem: Loss of power to lights or outlets, breakers don't appear to be tripped.
Possible solution: Some styles of breakers don't appear to be tripped when in fact they are. If you have tried to reset a breaker but the handle feels spongy, it is likely tripped and has to be completely turned to the off position and turned back to the on position.
